Grocery Store / Super Center, Retail Sprinkler system activates, helps control fire at H-E-B grocery store (Bastrop, TX) October 31, 2014 viking210 The Bastrop Fire Department responded to a fire call at Bastrop H-E-B on Hasler Boulevard at 9:11 p.m. Tuesday, according to Bastrop Fire Chief Henry Perry. The fire, which broke out near the aisle containing paper towels and toilet paper, took approximately 45 minutes to contain, he said. Perry said the cause of the fire was unknown as of Wednesday morning. The case is under investigation, the chief said. “The fire protection system in the building worked like it was supposed to,” he said. “It worked perfectly.”
