Apartment Building, Residential Suspicious apartment fire put out by sprinkler system (North Bay, ON) March 3, 2014 viking210 A flaming object that was thrown down the garbage chute of an apartment on Thursday night at about 10 p.m. The sprinkler system activated and put out the fire, and police report that thanks to the fire sprinkler, there was no damage to the building. This is the fourth time that a fire has started for similar reasons in this apartment building.
