Fire / Police Station, Government/Military Sprinkler system extinguishes fire at fire station (Longview, TX) November 1, 2012 viking210 According to Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary, a heater in the engine bay where fire trucks are parked caught fire around structural members of the ceiling. The structure’s sprinkler system immediately extinguished the fire, set off the alarm and alerted firefighters who were in Station No. 6’s living area.
