Primary / Secondary School, School / University Port Arthur, TX – Trash can fire at middle school contained with help from sprinkler system February 20, 2017 viking210 A small trash can fire has been reported at Thomas Jefferson Middle School on Stadium Drive in Port Arthur. The school was evacuated and the sprinkler system went off, but only in the location of the fire. The Port Arthur Fire Department tells us the fire is under control and firefighters are cleaning up the scene.
