Hotel / Motel, Hotel / Restaurant Hotel fire extinguished by sprinkler system (Houston, TX) April 8, 2014 viking210 A small fire broke out on the third floor of a hotel at about 2:30 a.m. The resident of the room quickly evacuated the room and asked bystanders to notify 911. By the time fire crews arrived, the fire had been extinguished by the room’s fire sprinklers. There were no injuries reported.
