Other - Retail, Retail Fire at furniture repair shop controlled by sprinkler system (New Bedford, MA) December 10, 2013 viking210 Stray sparks from the finishing booth of a furniture repair shop ignited a large fire on Sunday afternoon. Seven of the building’s fire sprinklers were individually activated from the heat of the fire which helped to contain the fire until firefighters arrived. There were no injuries reported.
