Nursing Home/Senior Living, Residential Sprinkler system suppresses fire at retirement home (Amarillo, TX) August 10, 2013 viking210 On the morning of August 8, a fire broke out on the second floor of a retirement home. According to the responding fire department, the fire sprinkler system worked perfectly to contain the fire that was caused by cooking. There were no injuries reported.
