Firefighters were called to Complete Packaging Inc., 633 Detroit Ave., around 6:15 p.m. Monroe Fire Chief Robert Wight said a sprinkler system helped to save the structure. Some products inside the facility were damaged due to the blaze. “They knocked it down pretty fast,” the chief said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
