According to apartment manager Lisa Chaves, the fire started when a tenant was cooking on their stove top at about 10:30 a.m. She said that no one was injured in the fire and that flames were extinguished by the building’s sprinkler system. However, Chaves said two apartments were damaged by the water from the sprinklers.
