Manufacturing, Manufacturing Plant Damage minimized at manufacturing facility (Denison, TX) June 25, 2014 viking210 A manufacturing facility fire on Tuesday morning is being investigated as suspicious. When fire crews responded to the fire at approximately 5 a.m., they found that the door to the building was open and smoke was pouring out of the facility. The building’s fire sprinkler had been activated when they arrived as well. “[The fire sprinklers] actually saved the building itself,” Denison Fire Chief Bill Ray said. “You would have a little water on the floor, but there wasn’t a lot of damage to the products. They were able to get back in and start working at noon because they had a sprinkler system.” No injuries were reported.
