The fire, which started on the patio of a first floor apartment, was contained by the building’s fire sprinklers. Central Fire Authority Chief Doug Williams reported that without the fire sprinklers, the fire likely would have been “a very devastating event.” The fire, which is under investigation, did not cause any reported injuries.
