Apartment Building, Residential Apartment kitchen fire extinguished by sprinkler system (Bremerton, WA) July 28, 2014 viking210 A fire in the Frank Chopp Place apartments Friday was quickly extinguished by the building’s sprinkler system. The fire started in a kitchen around 3 p.m., and by the time Bremerton Fire Department units arrived, it was out, said Battalion Chief Brad Richard. The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known.
