*** No Media Coverage – Fire Department Reported *** On 2/10/19 units responded to a structure fire at 15270 VOSS RD at the request of Fort Bend County Emergency Dispatch. Upon arrival Northeast FD was contacted. They advised that there was a small cooking fire that spread vertical from the stovetop and to the microwave directly above. The apartment had a wet pipe sprinkler system and the head inside the kitchen activated and extinguished the fire. The occupant inside the apartment said that the stove top was left on and caused the fire. The apartment suffered water damage and minor smoke damage. Apartment 417 directly beneath suffered water damage from the second floor. There were no civilian or fire service injuries reported to me.
