** Fire Department Reported – No Media Coverage ** On the evening of 01/02/2019, Stafford Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire in the 3300 block of Dove County in Stafford, unincorporated Fort Bend County, TX. Personnel arrived to find a working fire on a back patio that had breached the doorway and had begun to come inside of the apartment. Three sprinkler heads activated inside of the apartment which kept the fire contained to only the unsprinklered open air back patio. Fire suppression personnel quickly extinguished the fire on the back patio. The apartment in which the fire occurred suffered smoke, heat, and water damage from fire suppression. The apartment on either side of the affected unit also suffered minor damage.
