Fire crews responded within a few minutes to the scene, and they found that the fire had been contained to a small area by the building’s fire sprinklers. The first responders were able to quickly put out the rest of the fire. No injuries were reported in the incident, and the cause of the College Station Fire Marshal’s office determined that the fire was caused by the failure of a control wire in the HVAC system.
