Apartment Building, Residential Sprinkler system activates, helps control overnight fire at apartment building (Nashville, TN) October 10, 2014 viking210 Several residents have been displaced by a fire that began in an east Nashville apartment building Wednesday morning. It started at about 2 a.m. at the Bellwood Park Apartments on 100 Pennington Avenue. Preliminary reports indicated the fire could have been due to a lightning strike but fire marshals will have to complete their investigation before that can be confirmed. There were no injuries reported from the fire.
