The two-alarm fire was contained to separate laundry baskets and was mostly kept at bay by the sprinkler system, said Wayne Fire Chief John Gabriel. “It was a very easy fire,” Gabriel said. “It was knocked down in less than five minutes.” No injuries were reported to firefighters or customers.
