Apartment Building, Residential North Las Vegas, NV – Fire at apartment complex extinguished by sprinkler system December 29, 2014 viking210 The fire occurred about 4 p.m. at 1705 Yale St., near West Owens and Main Streets. The sprinkler system extinguished most of the fire before firefighters arrived, North Las Vegas Fire Capt. Cedric Williams said. One fire victim was transported for smoke inhalation and the other was treated at the scene, told News 3. Williams said the unit had to be be briefly evacuated. The Red Cross was being called to assist residents. The cause of fire was not immediately available.
