Napa, CA – Fire in vacant building extinguished with help from sprinkler system

Firefighters responded to a suspicious fire at a vacant building at the end of Valle Verde Drive in Napa on Thursday night, according to Napa City Fire.

The small fire was mostly extinguished by a sprinkler inside the building, firefighters said. Firefighters were at the scene for about an hour turning the sprinkler head off and pushing out smoke.

No injuries were reported and no witnesses were at the scene.
