Other / Not Specified, Other Business Fire controlled by sprinkler system at Hotel Breakers in Cedar Point Amusement Park (Sandusky, OH) October 4, 2014 viking210 Firefighters were called to the Cedar Point hotel around 12:45 p.m. when a fire broke out on the tenth floor, Sandusky fire Chief Dave Degnan said. The building’s sprinkler system was able to contain the blaze until crews arrived and extinguished it completely, Degnan said. There is no visible damage on the hotel’s exterior, but it remains to be seen how much was damaged inside. Degnan is at the scene, but was still unsure if the fire broke out in a linen closet or in an individual hotel room.
