The extent of the fire wasn’t immediately clear, but a Reno Fire Department official said the interior sprinkler system contained the fire, with firefighters knocking it down. Crews worked on clearing out smoke and helping guests. One person received medical treatment for smoke inhalation. The first three floors of the north wing were evacuated, according to Battalion Chief Mike Pilcher. Some water damage was reported on the floors below the affected area. Joseph Occhiuto, 25, is being held at the Washoe County Jail on two counts of arson.
