Washington, D.C. – Fire at Howard University residence tower contained to one room by sprinkler system

Last Tuesday night, a fire that started on the fourth floor of the Howard Plaza Towers, East left residents out of their rooms for at least five hours.   The sprinkler system initiated and contained the fire to the fourth floor room.
